am currently a full-time transfer student studying East Asian Languages at Queens College. Beforehand, I had studied Creative Writing at the University of Hartford for 2 1/2 years after graduating from Bayside High School with an Advanced Regents Diploma and certificate in visual arts in 2008.
I have a slew of hobbies and interests. I love learning languages. I am also an amateur artist and collector of most things cartoon and video game art related. I am pretty handy with a camera or pen and paper, too. I like music and singing (in the shower, shh.)
I am currently working towards being a multilingual translator. I think I would also like to be a teacher or professor of foreign languages at some point, but I'd like to try some other stuff first.

I totally forgot I started yet another blog forever ago.
A lot has happened (I think.) Job market sucks, school is moving too slow, and I'm not quite sure I'm "talented" at anything anymore.
In fact I'm almost sure I've lost most of my artistic talents, or that maybe they have become internalized or even secondary aspects in my life in some way.
I know -- someone on an art site saying they can't draw and, in fact, probably don't want to draw. PICS OR GTFO.
I dunno. I miss being good at drawing, and I miss being proud in a finished piece. My so called creative writing work has come to a screeching halt as well.

This is not a fem-nazi rant people, I swear to Buddha.
You know what I fucking hate? The one absolute thing that gets on my nerves? Movies about women who get beat, raped, have their children taken away from them, and are content with having nothing done about it. For example, the movie Jolene. The actress is stunning and the movie is well filmed. But the story just makes me want to jump through the screen and ring people by the neck.
She's nearly beat to death by her uber-religious third ex-husband and lets the pompous prick keep the kid because his family is old money and has bought out every lawyer in town, and because she has a checkere
